ENG-297H Special Topics in Literature: Lesbian, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Literature
An examination of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender literature, focusing on short stories, poetry, novels, and drama by authors from the nineteenth century to today. This course will explore relevant and critical LGBT topics such as identitiy and sexuality as well as important themes such as separateness and acceptance. Writers may include Gore Vidal, James Baldwin, Adrienne Rich, Audre Lorde, Jennifer Finney Boylan, and Larry Kramer.
