ENG-247H Honors Literary Memoir
A study of memoir that approaches the genre through a literary framework and in a cultural context. Students will read and analyze a series of memoirs from diverse cultural backgrounds in a variety of forms, approaches, and voices. An emphasis will be placed on contemporary work that seeks to explore the nature of memory, invention, and self. Prerequisite: Six Credits of Composition or permission of the instructor.
