HSP-237 Hospitality Career Ready Strategic Planning
A capstone course. Students will be exposed to and diagnose, analyze and resolve complex hospitality business situations emphasizing critical thinking, practical problem solving skills and strategic management through the use of hospitality case studies. In addition, students will perform site visits to various local hospitality establishments and reflect on organizational culture and operational performance. This course will engage students in developing a professional business portfolio (cover letters, resume, LinkedIn profile, interview preparation, personal diversity and inclusion statement, community service, pro forma development) and assist in employment identification and job/internship placement.
