ENG-245 Modern Fiction

An exploration of contemporary fiction with attention to common themes, stylistic elements, and cultural influences. This course emphasizes close reading and analysis as a means of understanding the forms, functions, and meanings of modern fiction by authors from diverse cultural identities. Prerequisite: Six credits of composition or permission of the instructor.
