The Financial Aid Office's mission is to remove economic barriers for you so that you can focus on your studies while attending BCC and achieve your academic and career goals.
Federal and state financial aid, including Massachusetts Free Community College available to most students who need assistance with paying for their college education. At Berkshire Community College (BCC), the Student Financial Services team will assist you throughout the FAFSA or MASFA application process and provide you with the most current information available on its financial aid programs. If you need assistance completing the Financial Aid Process, please come to a FAFSA/MASFA drop in session or schedule an appointment with BCC's Student Financial Services Experts. We have outlined the various types of financial aid programs at BCC which include grants, waivers, scholarships, federal work-study programs, and loans. In 2024, 1,861 students received an average award of $4,553 to attend BCC. Twenty-eight percent of BCC's 2025 graduating class took out a student loan and had an average loan debt of $9,169.
