CHM-150 Essentials of Chemistry

A one-semester chemistry course for students entering a health-related program. The course focuses on the fundamental core concepts of inorganic chemistry. Topics include scientific measurements, atomic structure, periodic table, chemical bonding, intermolecular forces, chemical reactions, mole and mass calculations, gas laws, radioactivity, solutions, acids, bases, buffer systems, and an introduction to organic chemistry. Typically not offered in the spring or summer semester. Offered in the fall semester.
