A laboratory science course for students planning to transfer. Topics include: atoms, measurements, moles, quantum mechanical model of the atom, periodic properties, molecules and compounds, Lewis structures and molecular geometry, chemical reactions, chemical quantities, solutions, aqueous reactions and thermochemistry.
