EDU-215 Multiculturalism & Diversity in The Classroom
An exploration of various cultures, diverse student populations, social justice issues, and what it means to be an effective, culturally responsive educator. Emphasis is placed on finding ways to maximize learning opportunities to ensure an equitable education for all students, and preparing to work with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families in today's schools. Requires 20 hours of field work. Prerequisites: EDU 105 or permission of instructor
