Progression Policy
Progression through the ADN program is dependent upon successful completion of each course. To progress in the nursing program a student must maintain a minimum theory grade of 75%, pass clinical, complete all formalized psychomotor skills successfully, and meet the Course Student Learning Outcomes in all nursing courses. All prerequisite courses must be completed successfully (non-nursing and nursing courses) in order to progress to the next nursing course in the sequence, i.e., NUR 101, NUR 102, NUR 201, NUR 202 and NUR 206. Students must also achieve all End of Program Student Learning Outcomes (EPSLOs) in NUR 202.
Advanced placement students enter into the third semester and must complete all courses in order to progress.

BIO-201 Anatomy & Physiology I 4 credits
BIO-105 with a minimum grade of B- or BIO-101 with a minimum grade of C or successful completion of the biology I challenge exam or permission of the Biology Program Advisor. Take BIO-201L.

A total of 10 program credits must be completed with a C or better (a C+ or better for science courses).

First Semester

NUR-101 Physical & Mental Health I 9 credits
Requisites:
Take BIO-201 - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
Take ENG-101 or ENG-103 - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
Take PSY-107 - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
Take NUR-101L and NUR-101C - Must be taken at the same time as this course.
