NUR-206 Nursing in Transition
The Nurse of the Future Core Competencies of professionalism, leadership, teamwork and collaboration are further analyzed. The role of the nurse is emphasized in relation to the historical development of the profession, legal, cultural and ethical issues faced by today's nurses. The various educational, employment and community service options in nursing and the transition fromstudent to a professional nurse are also recognized.
