RSP-202 Cardiopulmonary Anatomy & Physiology
A study of the gross and microscopic structure and function of the human cardiopulmonary and renal systems. Topics include heart and lung anatomy, acids, bases, buffer systems, solutions, chemical reactions, gas laws, and the physiology of internal and external respiration, the physiologic mechanisms of the cardiopulmonary system, including ventilatory physics and mechanics, gas diffusion, and oxygen and carbon dioxide transport including natural and chemical regulation of breathing, circulation, and cardiac output.
