HIS-241 Conspiracy Theories in American History
An investigation into the roles that conspiracy theories play in American society and culture, and their place in the broader context of American history. The class will examine explanations for the prevalence of conspiracy theories, and will explore well documented conspiracies (e.g., Watergate), as well as "conspiracy theories" which have not been substantiated (e.g., the Kennedy assassination).
