ENV-205 Environmental Monitoring & Assessment
Sources of water pollution and the effects of pollutants on the environment. Methods of monitoring and assessing water and soil quality and the scientific principles underlying those methods. Topics covered will include chemical and biological factors affecting water quality, fate and transport of pollutants, and the chemistry of environmental monitoring and assessment. Laboratories emphasize water analysis.
