ENT-151 Introduction to Manufacturing

A practical introduction to metalworking processes including the setup and operation of tools such as lathes and milling machines. Topics covered will be manufacturing theory, tool geometry, blueprint reading and metrology. Basic principles of numerical control are introduced. Emphasis is given to safety shop practices, tool configuration and manufacturing work activity planning.
