CRJ-219 Gender & Justice
A study of how gender affects victims and perpetrators of crime in the United States. Historical and contemporary women's lives are examined through fictional portrayal and factual data. Theories of causality, the influence of gender on the legal status of women, the impact of rising female criminality, and the role of gender in shaping the culture and structure of criminal justice professions are addressed.

CRJ-105 or SOC-105 or permission of the instructor ENG-101 or permission of instructor.
