HUM-212 The Art of Resistance
An examination of how artists and writers confront power and oppression through creative expression. Drawing on global and historical contexts, the course investigates domination, resistance, and the cultural forces that shape struggles for justice. Through an analysis of artistic and political work from around the world, students explore how creative practices confront injustice, reclaim agency, and imagine alternative ways of being.
