SOC-232 Social Class
An examination of the nature of social class in the United States. Students will investigate the way social class exists, as well as looking into some of the ways that it developed over time. The course will use popular music and movies to investigate some of the varied societal ideas about our class system. The class will also look at cross-cultural examples to place the U.S. system in a global context.
