ENG-100 College Writing, Speaking & Listening For ESOL Students
A study in the conventions of proper English in an academic setting for English Language Learners. This course will focus on the practices and expectations of college writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Content may include writing in a variety of academic modes, presentations, and strategies for listening and speaking in classroom discussion. This course may feature the study of a variety of disciplines, such as literature, fine arts, historical and cultural studies. A first year experience seminar, this course will also include strategies for college success. Completion of Level III ESOL or an equivalent, or permission of instructor required.
