ECE-154 Early Childhood Language & Literacy: B-8

An examination of the process and content behind the development of literacy skills in children from birth to age 8. This course will explore emergent literacy and focus on ways to implement developmentally appropriate learning activities in the areas of listening, speaking, writing and reading from both emergent literacy and research based perspectives. Requires 20 hours of field work.
