Graduation and Transfer Statistics
BCC awarded its first two degrees, both to women, in 1961. In the spring of 2018, 215 associate degrees and certificates were conferred. Historically, BCC graduates have successfully transferred into colleges and universities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States, and abroad. Thirty-two percent (32%) of students earning an associate degree in the spring of 2018 transferred within six months to a baccalaureate-level program at a diverse group of four-year degree-granting institutions around the country.
Following their graduation from BCC, many students seek employment or elect to work while continuing their education. Results from two recent surveys of graduates over the past six years indicate that 92 percent of respondents were employed full or part-time following graduation or had transferred to a four-year institution.
