RSP-105 Respiratory Care I: Theory and Practice
An introduction to the theory and clinical practice of basic respiratory care procedures. This lecture, laboratory and appliced clinical practice course covers all the basic respiratory care procedures used in the clinical setting. Students learn the theory and develop the basic skills used in respiratory care including infection control, vital sign measurement,oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy and medical record keeping. Prerequisite: Admission to Respiratory Care program. Corequisite: CHM 150 and BIO 201.
