PTA-110 Physical Therapist Assistant I
An introduction to the basic principles and applications of various physical therapy interventions. This course includes the study of physiological effect of biophysical agents and, the purpose of the use of assistive devices for gait. The course also explores the use of evidence based research to support intervention choices. Prerequisite: PTA 100, PTA 102, BIO 201, and PHY 111 or higher. Corequisite: PTA 115 and BIO 202.
