MAT-029 Elementary Algebra IV-VI
The second semester of a two-semester sequence in elementary algebra preparing students for intermediate algebra. Topics include factoring polynomials, operating with rational expressions, solving rational expressions, solving rational equations, manipulating square roots and solving square root and quadratic equations. College credit will be awarded, but this credit will not count toward a degree. Skills prerequisite: MAT 028C or MAT 028 or by learning skills placement. Skills corequisite:
