HSV-135 Intro to Community Resources
A broad survey of local resources and social services. Through readings, guest lectures, and research, students use Berkshire County as a social laboratory to examine community governance, health services, education, social welfare programs, public and voluntary personal social services, and formal and informal groups. The course also examines the impact of the economy and natural resources on the community. Skills requisite: ENG 020.
