BIO-111 Introduction to Botany

The biology, ecology, and taxonomy of plants and their role in human civilization. Structure and function, metabolism, growth and physiology, genetics, evolution, and adaptations are included. Laboratories emphasize structure, function, growth, and taxonomy. A plant collection may be required. Skills prerequisite: ENG 020 and ENG 090.
