ENG-247H Honors Literary Memoir
A study of memoir that approaches the genre through a literary framework and in a cultural context. Students will read and analyze a series of memoirs from diverse cultural backgrounds in a variety of forms, approaches, and voices. An emphasis will be placed on contemporary work that seeks to explore the nature of memory, invention, and self. Membership in the Berkshire Honors Scholar Program required, or permission of the Honors Coordinator.

Three credits of Composition or ENG 215 (or permission of Instructor)
